Welcome to the Ready Answers Bible Memorization Curriculum!

With this curriculum you can easily teach people ages 6 through adult to be ready to answer questions about Biblical Christian doctrines as understood by Seventh-day Adventists. We believe that people are most eager to learn about our beliefs when they are curious enough to ask a question. It is at these moments that your students can give the most effective witness. Ideally, the answer will include a Bible passage, its reference, and how it answers the question. This requires having the verse and reference memorized, but this is easier to do than you may think. Play the video to see how you can easily memorize Psalm 91:11.

The Ready Answers curriculum bundled with the teacher's guide can be downloaded as one combined file (*.zip), or you can get each of the files seperately using other links on this page.

The Ready Answers curriculum includes:

Teacher's Guide

This teacher's guide describes the principles and methods we have found effective in our class. It also includes instructions for printing and teaching, and is the same for all units. If you have already downloaded the Teacher's Guide with unit A, you won't need to get it with subsequent units.

Learning Aids

handles
This is one of the key features of the program. This file explains easy ways to teach students to memorize each phrase.

mono
This is a single channel (monophonic) audio recording of the verses to memorize and the related questions and explanations.

Lesson Formats

The lesson material is presented in several different formats giving you a range of options. Each format contains the same information as the others.

printshop or phone This format is the most flexible. It can be loaded on smart-phones and tablets. It is also useful for professional print shops, permitting them to make their own layout that works best for their equipment. Home users can also use this format to make a large-print edition that is great for use in small classes.

1book
This can be used to make a small book bound with a spiral binding along the top.

2staple
Use this file to make two small books bound with staples.

slideguide
The pictures on this format are small, reducing the number of pages needed for the lesson. It is also great for people controlling the projector during a recitation program.

Presentation Formats

The pictures can be presented in front of a class or congregation using one of the following files

felts
This file contains only the pictures and can be used to project from a computer or from an overhead projector, if the pictures are printed onto overhead transparencies. They can also be printed onto iron-on-transfer sheets and ironed on to felt for use on a felt board.

JPEG files
Each of the pictures are also available seperately as JPEG files. These files make it possible for you to use the pictures in your favorite presentation software or in numerous other ways. It is even possible for photography specialty shops to create traditional photograph slides using them.
A091, A100, A110, A120, A130, A140, A150, A160, A170, A180, A190, A200, A210, A220

Rewards

Short-term and long-term rewards can encourage students to continue learning. These files can suplement your reward system.

stickers
This file can be printed on address lables so you can give students a sticker with the picture cooresponding to each verse that they memorize. This is designed for sheets of lables with 10 rows of 3 columns each 1 inch tall by 2 5/8 inch wide. This size of Avery 8460 and Office Depot item# 612-301.

poster
We print the poster on card-stock. Stickers can be placed on it to keep track of the student's progress and to encourage review of the previously memorized verses. The teacher's guide explains this in more detail.

certificate
When you are done teaching the unit, you can give each student a certificate of achievement.

Games

These two games help the students to have fun while reviewing verses. Both games are described in the teacher's guide.

tic-tac-toe
This game is ideal for younger learners or when the verses have been recently memorized.

askme
In this game participants practice being the evangelist. They take turns answering questions that can be answered by verses they have memorized.
